These are based of some of my locket designs. This one is 'Stargazers Lodge', it has a little door with a planet stamped on and a little tale with a stamped little telescope. The stars are cut from 9ct gold sheet and the stained glass window in the roof is a 4mm london blue topaz.
The locket is designed so a wish can be stored safely (and secretly). The floor and roof both protrude so they keep the wish safe in the little back compartment. The hinged door is also stamped with the phrase ' STARS can't SHINE without Darkness'. The size of the locket is 3cm x 2 cm (not including bail) and the depth is about 6mm.
Th locket is set on a hammered ring with a key and key tag which reads 'Stargazing Lodge' and a recycled from scrap nugget charm that has been flattened in a rolling mills and stamped with a star.
The chain is a heavy belcher that is 18 inches long but can be worn any length shorter.'

Inspiration
The inspiration for this is from the Enchanted Village, full of quirky unusual houses where faeries live. Lockets create a magical space, you can keep a wish, or a spell or a photo in the back of this locket.
