This pendant is made from sea glass from Seaham in Co.Durham. Over 100 years ago in Victoria times, there were 7 or so glass factories in Seaham. They used to dump scrap glass in at the end of the day. For over 100 years this has been tumbled and fashioned by mother nature.
This pendant is a cluster of sea glass, a fine silver hand cast limpit and a 1909 sterling silver sixpence featuring the short lived King Edward VII. The chain is a heavy sterling silver belcher chain with a hand made toggle. All components are sterling silver. The cluster is approx 4.5 cm.
