This backing pendant has been made from 1 mm thick sterling  silver sheet that has been reticulated (surface melted with torch). I have then cut the various phases on the moon and soldered them. The peices has been oxidised. The chain is also securely soldered to the pendant and the entire peice is 18 inches long. 
The pendant is 52 mm x 15 mm. Hallmarked by the birmingham assay office.
